Josie Hurtado is a life-long resident of Camarillo, CA. She has been a full-time real estate professional since 1988 and has helped many sellers and buyers purchase first homes, investment properties, or their long awaited dream home. Josie’s no-nonsense and honest approach to real estate and financing has earned the trust of countless clients. For this reason, her client base consists of referrals and repeat clients. 

Josie is a member of the CMA (Complete Marketing Advantage) Networking Group, the California Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors and the Ventura County Coastal Association of Realtors, a graduate of the Realtors Institute (G.R.I.) and is a certified Short Sale and Foreclosure Resorce (SFR). She believes in the importance of education and keeping up with the changing market. She is also fluent in Spanish. Her experience, along with her negotiating skills, are the right combination for successful transactions. 

Josie attends Camarillo Christian Church and enjoys volunteering at the Ventura County Rescue Mission, and helping with Habitat for Humanity building projects. She has also assisted in building projects in Tijuana and Ensenada, Mexico. Josie instilled her passion for helping others in her children, both of whom also regularly volunteer and have traveled to Mozambique, Peru, Chile, Costa Rica, Brazil and Mexico to assist in various service projects. 

A mother of two children (Caroline and Erik) and two prized Bichon Frise pups (Morez and Chloe), Josie enjoys gardening, home remodeling projects, spending time with her children, traveling and entertaining friends in her home. Josie’s home office reflects her loyalty to USC and UCLA, on account of her children being alumni of both schools. Her daughter, Caroline, is an attorney and practices corporate litigation. Her son, Erik, received his Masters in foreign policy.
